Synopsis: Deivam Thantha Veedu is the story of two cousins who are completely opposite from each other. Seetha, who is very innocent and illiterate and other is Priya who is very wise and greedy. Ram is already in Love with Vanitha and (Ram's sister) Kalpana is in love with Ramesh(Vanith's brother). When Chitra chooses Seetha over Priya as her DIL , Banumathy( Priya's mom) is devastated. Ram agrees to marry seetha out of respect and love for his mom without knowing seetha is illiterate. Kalpana tries to make seetha deny the marriage because her love is at stake.Seetha marries Ram and Priya tricks Ravi (Ram's cousin)into marrying her.
